• 10/1/2008: Phyrexian Devourer's power is checked as its activated ability resolves. Phyrexian Devourer's first ability also continually checks its power as a state trigger.
• 10/1/2008: Once a state trigger triggers, it won't trigger again as long as the ability is on the stack. If the ability is countered and the trigger condition is still true, it will immediately trigger again.
• 10/1/2008: If Phyrexian Devourer's first ability triggers, you'll have to sacrifice it when it resolves even if its power has been reduced to 6 or less by then.
