When Rukh Egg is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, put a 4/4 red Bird creature token with flying onto the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step.
Called "stonefeathers" by many lowlanders, rukhs are thought to descend from a phoenix that sacrificed its flame for a body of stone.

Gatherer Card Rulings [Nov 2009]

• 10/4/2004: If the Rukh Egg card is removed from the graveyard in the same turn it is put there, a Bird will still be put onto the battlefield.
• 10/1/2005: If the Egg is exiled instead of being put into the graveyard, no Bird is put onto the battlefield.
• 10/1/2005: Text-changing effects can be used to change the color of the Bird that will be put onto the battlefield.
• 10/1/2005: If the Egg is destroyed while under the control of another player, the controller of the Egg gets the Bird.
