Crystal Keep Rulings Summaries

• Animated artifacts are subject to the effects of summoning sickness (see Rule G19.39). [Mirage, Page 14] Remember that all permanents get summoning sickness, but that only creatures are affected by it. So whether or not you can use the animated artifact right away depends on whether or not it has summoning sickness. It will not have summoning sickness if it has been in play on your side (creature or not) since the beginning of your most recent turn.
• Extended tournaments (see Rule 803) have banned this card since 1999/10/01.
