  • Trample matters only as combat damage is being assigned, before it’s dealt. If Kessig Dire Swine doesn’t have trample while assigning its combat damage, it won’t matter if a creature dying due to combat damage causes Kessig Dire Swine to gain trample. (2016-04-08)
