  • The Hellbent ability checks how many cards you have in hand when this spell resolves. If this is the last card in your hand and you play it, you will not have it in your hand when this resolves. [D'Angelo 2006/09/30]

  • If more than one creature comes into play, the ability will trigger more than once, but only the first one to resolve can successfully sacrifice the card, so the damage is only dealt once. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]

62. Flaring Flame-Kin

63. Gnat Alley Creeper

Gnat Alley Creeper can't be blocked by creatures with flying.

64. Ignorant Bliss

Remove all cards in your hand from the game face down. At end of turn, return those cards to your hand, then draw a card.
  • No player may look at the face down cards. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]
  • If the delayed trigger is countered, the cards cannot be returned to the game. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]
  • If played during your End of Turn step, the cards won't return until the end of your next turn. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]

65. Kill-Suit Cultist

Kill-Suit Cultist attacks each turn if able.
{B}, Sacrifice Kill-Suit Cultist: The next time damage would be dealt to target creature this turn, destroy that creature instead.
  • The ability replaces the damage so it is not dealt. Instead the creature is simply destroyed. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]

66. Kindle the Carnage

Sorcery 1RR (3) Dissension (Uncommon)
Discard a card at random. If you do, Kindle the Carnage deals damage equal to that card's converted mana cost to each creature. You may repeat this process any number of times.
  • The discard happens on resolution. If you don't have a card then, it won't deal damage. If you do have a card, you must discard it at that time. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]
  • There is no way to play damage prevention during the resolution, so if you want to prevent damage, you need to play it before resolution starts... which means before you know how many cards will be discarded. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]
  • Each iteration is a separate instance of damage from the same source. An effect that prevents damage the "next time", will only apply to one iteration. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]
  • Even though the damage arrives in stages, the check to see if a creature has lethal damage isn't done until after the spell is finished resolving. So a creature only needs to regenerate once, for example. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]

If a creature an opponent controls attacks, all creatures that opponent controls attack if able.
  • The opponent can tap lands for mana and keep mana in their pool to play additional spells during the current phase, so this doesn't stop a player from playing spells, but it does make it more difficult to plan properly. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]

Put a 1/1 green Saproling creature token into play blocking target creature attacking you.
Draw a card.
  • It can block a creature even if the block could not legally be declared. [Dissension FAQ 2006/04/13]
  • It targets a creature that is attacking you, so it can only be played when there are creatures attacking you. This means during an opponent's combat phase after attackers are declared. [D'Angelo 2006/08/01]
